Leatherman Sideclip: The Most Functional Leatherman Tool

While there are many adjustable-use tool gadgets, there is only one efficient tool in the market, the Leatherman Sideclip. This tool is twelve tools in one. Though it only measures 4 inches long when closed and weighs in at a mere 5 ounces, it carries many remarkably amazing features.

The first function to thump will be considering that there will be no necessity of a sheath or hauling case. As the name implies there is a spring clip on the side that lets the tool to be clipped to just about anything for storage or transportation. It might be a belt, shirt or pants account, car visor, tool box or perhaps a clip board. It can be stored anywhere that would make it easy for you to reach and use.

One of the prominent characteristics is the 2.3 inch knife cutting tool. This blade is very sharp and holds its edge very well even under the most trying circumstances. The blade is made from 420HC stainless steel for many years to use. The design of the sharp edge is known as a clip point.

This tool has eleven more tool features besides the knife. There is an 8 inch ruler, which includes markings for measuring up to 20 centimeters. It has also a bottle opener and a can opener, a hard wire cutter and needle nose pliers combination, huge, medium and small flat blade screw drivers, Phillips sharp edge screw driver, and regular pliers with attached wire cutter.

Numerous important but generally overlooked features of this product include the stainless steel handle and stainless steel body and the 25 year warranty. Additional characteristics are the optional leather or nylon sheath and the addition of a lanyard hole.

This tool is completely multi functional and should be considered a part of anyone’s essential field equipment. For the building worker, it is pretty much mandatory. When working on a project, the unexpected realization that you require a knife, or screw driver or even pliers may cause you to stop what you are doing and go in search of that tool. With the Leatherman Sideclip on your belt, you will just have to reach down, open it up and keep working.

Not convinced yet? Just take a look at these 3 specific reasons why you may well want to make this as part of your day-to-day accessory items.

1. While using the knife you can always be ready to open the package that was just delivered to you. You will never hunt for a box cutter or some other sharp object to cut the tape. Also you no longer need to use your car keys and get them all gummed up with tape residue.

2. You just discovered that the screw on your camera tri-pod is loose and it will not hold constant. Your options would be to quit taking pictures for the day or walk back to the car and hope to find a Phillips screw driver in the trunk or whip out your Leatherman Sideclip and tighten down the pesky loose screw.

Third. You are in the middle of nowhere and you got short in a wire to the car battery so the car won’t start. The only way to resolve this problem is to cut out the shorted portion and splice the wire collectively. Did you bring your tool box out of the garage? No, but you do have your trusty Leatherman Sideclip with the wire cutter and pliers. Cut the short out, strip the ends of the wires and splice them collectively. Now you are on your way.

Far Surpassed My Expectations – Best Antivirus Software Review

However it is worth having when you need it to remove a virus, but that is it. It takes up too much resources and it slows the computer down too much to use and have running in the background on a regular basis. This is a hard working security software that is light and not a memory hog. Point in fact, you don’t notice Norton’s Internet Security until it alerts you of malicious intent coming across the net.

I think it was 2009 when Norton did a total redesign of their security software because previous versions had been complete resource hogs and slowed your system down. This has ceased to be a problem and the Norton Internet Security products for 2010 and both of which I have used, have been great.

I like that once I have identified a topic to search, it identifies most sites as known safe ones or that there are known threats. Some sites NIS cannot rate but I very much like that it provides obvious warning to known problem sites and identifies the number and types of threats. Also, turns into complete “bloatware” after a short time. Norton installs fast and is easy to use. The program provides many tools that enable the user to insure the integrity of the computer and the network. Most importantly it does not slow now the performance of your computer. I find this Norton’s Internet Security not only thorough but it runs quickly and is very user friendly. Then I got the Norton and replaced the McAfee and what a difference. found and more importantly fixed a Trojan worm that trend micro could not. only issue is it really slows my computer (Pentium 4 2.6 GHz, 1280 MB RAM, XP Home). Norton Internet Security 11 is the best product on the market IMO, it’s a must have to effectively & simply handle all of your computer’s security needs. I had the 2010 NIS and just upgraded to the new version, it’s great.

Man read my problem asked for permission to take control of my computer and then started trouble shooting. Could not find any problem so down-loaded and installed program from his site. The version has even improved over 2010, it doesn’t create panic alerts anymore when it finds and removes tracking cookies, and it’s easier to see information about an intrusion or an infected file when one is detected. I recently had to contact their support group because I reformatted my netbook without uninstalling Norton — so it ‘ate’ one of the three licenses. I bought it from Amazon for half what Norton wants and considerably less than even Walmart. It’s low maintenance, does what it’s supposed to do, no problems.

I received my purchase fairly quickly. My problem started when I attempted to install my purchase and I needed to enter the product ID number.

I would never use another Internet Security program other than Norton. This program has never inter-feared with my computer settings like other security programs have in the past, and I always end up going back to Norton Internet Security.

This is a great product work fine. I had Norton Internet Security for several years and have always been happy with it.

This Light Not What It Appears To Be – Outdoor Path Lighting Review

I’m going to see how long the batteries last, but they’re simple to change. Both models had been installed by a professional. Automatic lights sure are useful.

The sensor is effective, and it looks good too. Do not waste your hard earned money on this.

A chance to walk in – and out without needing to flip a switch – you know, when you are carrying 3 plates of raw/cooked meat – to get dinner ready in the center of December. I ordered three of these lights for our closets that aren’t wired for lights. It looks like it should last against the elements. Motion dectectors are fairly accurate and you are able to modify the sensitivity and the duration of how long the light stays on after it detects the movement. The solar lamp post is fragile and will die if you drop them even once. After thirty days you’ve lost your hard earned money.

I’ve bought three and have distributed to other family members. This little fixture puts out enough light.

This unit easily solves this problem. Comes with an off/steady on/auto slider change at the back. Cash well spent. I did not want to contact the electrician, just needed a little light for that closet at night time.

Works as described, For the cost it cannot be beat. It appears as though half the time I have my hands too full to hit the switch, and also the other half of the time my son will neglect to turn off the light. We open up the front door to leave and the driveway lighting goes on. The light will get heavy useage and after eight months the light continues to be bright and still have not needed to install new batterys.

The photocell on these solar walkway lights are also effective, it wouldn’t light when the area is bright enough. It does just as its described.

Some of the other options used AA batteries. The kitchen knows that I am there! I will place one on my car port and I really hope it works equally well.

The “remote controlled” flat fixture ran through a set a batteries every few weeks and worked erratically. The real test is going to be how well the system performs in snow, ice and subzero temperatures this winter. Instantly activates when you approach leaving both hands free to unlock the doorway.

The Historical Past And Legends Associated With Mens Celtic Rings

Mens Celtic Rings – Symbols Of Manly Prowess

Orkney jewelry commonly has captivating legends that lie behind the styles and designs. Our mens Celtic rings for instance are associated with a legacy of stories about how exactly these medieval men and women lived on our islands. And also our designer engagement rings have tales to tell if you know where to look.

Orkney has a tradition of oral storytelling which extends back to the Celtic and Norse men and women who settled on our shores. Families would get together by the peat firesides through the extended hours of darkness in winter. In modern times as the clocks go back, it seems we have even more hours to tell legends and folktales while sitting by the hearthside – except the presence of TV and central heating has all but removed these old habits.

As we move ever nearer to the shortest day of the year, Orkney is hosting its own storytelling pageant and reviving many of the folklore stories to new people, both old and young. Over four days people are gathering to listen to myths and tales from Orkney and Scandinavian countries.

Tales and Folklore Surrounding Mens Celtic Rings

Mens Celtic rings could very well have been involved in one of Orkney’s most famous stories – that of the Broonie who lived with a man who was preparing to be married on the tiny island of Copinsay. The Broonie was a supernatural entity who lived in the sea gnawing on dead men’s bones, but he wanted to live on land. So he offered to assist the man by grinding the oats for his porridge, in return for living in his house. An arrangement was struck as this seemed like a reasonable exchange.

But once the bride to be arrived on the remote island she objected to the Broonie since he was naked and very unattractive. She made the decision he must cover himself up as she wanted to be a respectable married woman. She left an old cloak and hood on top of the quern stone he employed for milling the oatmeal. But once the Broonie saw the cloak the agreement was broken as the cloak offered payment which the supernatural creature wasn’t able to accept. The poor Broonie had to return to the ocean.

This age-old Orkney tale was told at the festival by Tom Muir, following researching by the folklore enthusiast the late Ernest Marwick. It is one of many relating to supernatural folk – some with origins in Celtic lore and many others in the Norse.

Mens Celtic rings from these out of the way isles are a part of this custom of passing down age-old art. And our designer engagement rings such as the Tryst ring have their own Orkney legends to tell.

The Joy Of Shopping Online

Buying on eBay can be a lucrative activity. However, if not managed properly, it can do shoppers more harm than good. Regardless, the convenience and the coverage of online shopping cannot be denied. So, to make the most out of E-bay when a shopper buys things, here’s some way to do it:

Exercise caution when buying on the internet. You will be dealing with persons unknown, so subject the seller to background check. With more feedback, chances are the seller does not do transactions well.

Take a close look at the product of interest, and an even closer look at the seller. Do not fall in love with a product at first sight. You should first establish the seller’s credibility before doing any business. This way, you will be able to spare yourself some headache and heartache if the transaction turns sour. When you go shopping, you might as well take a look at everything. The more places you look into, the more information you get, e.g., prices. Just like any market, e-bay has a wide array of similar items to choose from and each seller will definitely have different price quotations.

If you are a buyer, take note of the things that are sold. The knowledge gained may come in handy some day. In that way, they will have an idea in case they want to sell something someday.

The buyer should be guided by simple logic. A buyer should know how to detect fraud on an instant. It doesn’t need further explanations or theory. It’s instinct!

Buying on eBay can be a fun activity. The beauty in eBay shopping is that you can look around at your heart’s content even after you have concluded your transaction. eBay is a virtual depository of all kinds of products from all unimaginable sources and a hub of ideas and commentaries.

Discrepancies should be clarified first before logging out. Once you have found your item and agreed with the standard terms, clarify the small prints for anything that can throw a monkey wrench on the transaction. Doing so can spare you of possible disappointments later on. The last item that should be arranged and agreed on is the manner of payment. Payment is a sensitive issue that should not be taken for granted. The buyer should agree on the manner of payment that safeguards his interest. As much as possible, go with eBay-suggested forms of payments that should be agreed to by the two parties. He will be assuming too much risk under such payment arrangements.

eBay shopping is a real party if the buyer knows how play within bounds.
